Sign up today for "Shop to the Top"

Saturday morning climb up Baldy

The entry deadline is today, Friday for The Elephant's Perch's "Shop to the Top," climbing event scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 20.

The challenging six-mile run from Ketchum to the top of Baldy leaves at 9 a.m. from The Elephant's Perch shop on Sun Valley Road in Ketchum, and climbs to Baldy's summit.

A walking division of the annual event departs at 8 a.m. from the base of River Run and travels the same Bald Mountain Trail for five miles.

Race awards, prizes and refreshments will be given at the top at Lookout Restaurant.

Registration ($30 per person today) closes today, Friday at the Perch (726-3497). No race day registration will be available. Everyone is welcome for to the fun, family event.
