Headers and footers at Lefty's tournament

The confirmed schedule for Lefty's and Archive games this weekend in the Lefty's Men's Soccer home tournament:

Saturday: 8 a.m.: Lefty's vs. Olympic Oval. 2 p.m.: Archive vs. Jackson Hole. 4 p.m.: Lefty's vs. Boise United. 6 p.m. "Creature Feature": Archive vs. Logan. The so-called Creature Feature, played while onlookers eat, drink, and be merry, is a sure-fire bet for spectators.

"It's the main event, it's the entertainment for the evening," said creature-like co-captain Shaun Kelly.

Correction: the barbecue will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday, during the Creature Feature, not Sunday as earlier reported.

Other teams playing this weekend include Park City, Weber State, Magic Valley Warriors (Twin Falls) and two Boise teams, the Osprey and the Blast.
