It's time for football!

First-year Wood River High School football coach Mike Glenn has announced the pre-season schedule for the 2005 Wolverine grid program.

It starts today, Wednesday when senior players check out equipment at 5 p.m. at the high school in Hailey. Dates are:

Wednesday, Aug. 3: Senior equipment check-out at 5 p.m. at the high school Thursday, Aug. 4: Junior equipment check-out at 5 p.m. at the high school and the parent/player meeting for all participants at 8 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 5: Sophomore equipment check-out at 5 p.m. at the high school.

Monday, Aug. 8: Varsity and junior varsity two-a-day practices from 8-10 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. today through Friday, Aug. 12, and also Aug. 15-19.

Monday, Aug. 8: Freshman equipment check-out at 8 a.m. at the high school

Monday, Aug. 15: First freshman practices from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. at the high school.

Friday, Aug. 26: Junior varsity game at Filer, 6 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 27: Home varsity game against Filer at Phil Homer Field in Hailey at 7:30 p.m.
