View Point made a strong bid for first place on a Wednesday night when the top four teams were playing each other. View Point (25 hits) pushed across 10 runs on 10 hits in the first featuring 2-run singles by Sharon Stewart (3 hits, 3 runs), Georgia Huchinson (4 hits, 3 runs) and a 2-run HR by Rod Watson (3 hits, 3 runs). View Point: Matt Conover 3 hits (double) and 2 runs, Nelson Drewien 4 hits (double) and 2 runs, Jeff Sarchett HR, triple and 3 runs. Firefighters: Pam Rudolph 3 hits and 2 runs, Keith Potter 2 hits (HR) and 2 runs, Rick Robertson double, Matt Christian RBI double, Ken Edwards 2-run single.

Casino 22, Color Haus 7 (6 innings)

Casino batters (22 hits) rolled the dice and came up with a great night at the dish to topple Color Haus from its unbeaten boast and move into a three-way tie for the top spot in the nine-team loop. The winners made it look easy with 6 runs in the first and 7 more in the third for a 13-6 lead. Casino: Joe Reali 2 doubles and 2 runs, Gretchen Wagner 2 runs, Anthony Anderson 4 hits (double, triple) and 3 runs, Jerod Bell 3 hits (2 doubles) and 3 runs, Jill Morse 4 hits and 3 runs, Craig Morse and Kathy Baker 2 runs each. Color Haus: 2 hits apiece by Bryan Burrell (double), John Rathfon and Chris Benson (2-run HR).

Lefty's Bar & Grill 23, SV Associates 11 (6 innings)

Making a late-season bid for a .500 season, slow-starting Lefty's poured it on—scoring in each frame capped by an 8-hit, 8-run sixth with Levie Smith (3 runs) delivering a key 2-run single. Lefty's: Buffalo Rixon double, triple, HR and 3 runs, Kyle Rushton 3 runs, Michelle Hampton 3 runs and 2 RBI, Bryan Speth 4 hits (3 doubles), 3 runs and 5 RBI, Bobby Morrison 3 hits and 2 runs, Tucker Hall 4 hits (double). SV Associates: Eric Palmer 3 hits (HR, triple) and 3 runs, Kanaka Jolma 2 runs, Lee Ritzau 2 hits (HR), Ken Pierce 3 hits (HR, triple) and 2 runs.

Zenergy 20, Kennedy Mortgage 4 (5 innings)

Zenergy cut down its reps and went for weight with an 11-hit, 10-run second for an early 14-1 lead. Zenergy: Gina Heideman 2 hits and 3 runs, Pat McGee double, triple, HR and 3 runs, Aly Brewer 3 runs, Eric Ayers 2 inside-the-park HRs, 4 hits and 4 runs, Heather Lingbloom 2 hits (double) and 2 runs, Mark Belanger 2 doubles and 2 runs, Cameron Leady 2 hits and 2 runs, Kelsey Hazelton 2 runs.
