Ketchum woman named 'Broker of the Year'


Mortgage broker Bonnie Ann Moore of Ketchum was honored Wednesday as the "Broker of the Year" at the National Association of Mortgage Brokers 2005 Annual Convention and Exposition in Minneapolis.

Moore is the owner of Nationwide Mortgage, a company she formed in 1991. She has served on various NAMB committees, including the Membership and Government Affairs Committee. She has been active in both the California and Idaho mortgage broker sssociations and has been named Idaho Business Person of the Year four times. In 2004, Moore was honored by the Idaho Association of Mortgage Brokers as the first recipient of the "Bonnie Ann Moore Award."

"Bonnie's commitment to the industry and the profession embodies the values this award represents," said NAMB President Jim Nabors. "Her integrity and passion for her work, as well as her involvement in NAMB and in her state associations, make her a role model for all mortgage brokers. We are very proud to recognize Bonnie Ann with our highest honor."

The Broker of the Year is NAMB's most prestigious award and is presented each year to the individual who most embodies the association's ideals and principals. Fannie Mae is the award sponsor. The selection criteria include commitments to community involvement, quality service and ethics.
