RESULTS

Color Haus 36, Kennedy Mortgage 2 (5 innings)

Color Haus came up with all guns firing—scoring 10 runs in the first, 11 second and 13 in the third. Six walks helped the Color Haus cause in the first, and Lars Hovey (cycle, 4 runs) cleaned up with a grand slam HR. Color Haus: Shannon Webb 2 hits and 4 runs, Bryan Burrell 4 hits (2 HR) and 5 runs, Twyla Bulcher 3 hits and 4 runs, Brenda Blackwell 2 hits and 4 runs, Dan Gearhart 2 HR. Kennedy: T. Sparks 2 hits.

Firefighters 21, Zenergy 5 (6 innings)

Firefighters (25 hits) built a 16-2 lead with a 9-run second and 6-run third. Firefighters: Matt Christian 4 hits and 3 runs, Pam Rudolph 2 hits and 3 runs, Keith Potter 5 hits (3 doubles) and 4 runs, Ken Edwards 5 hits (2 doubles, triple) and 3 runs, Bart Thompson 3 hits (2 HR) and 3 runs, Alysia Heyer 3 hits and 2 runs. Zenergy: Pat McGee 3 hits (HR, triple) and 2 runs.

SV Associates 10, Group Six 7

In a good, close, back-and-forth game, SV Associates pulled it out with 3 runs in the seventh. Group Six led 5-4 after four frames and 7-6 after five, but SV Associates tied it 7-7 on a leadoff hit by Ken Pierce and RBI single by Jimmy Hart. The winners added 3 runs in the seventh as Tyler Wheeler (2 hits, 2 runs) delivered an RBI single and Vilnis Nikolaisons (3 hits, 3 RBI) ripped a 2-run single. SV Associates: Kirsten Ritzau 2 hits. Group Six: Andy Konigsmark HR, double.

View Point 17, Casino 15

The feature game of the night between two unbeaten teams went down to the wire. It was all Casino early. They rapped out 14 hits in the first four innings for a 9-1 lead sparked by the hitting of Anthony Anderson (4 hits, HR, 2 doubles and 4 runs) and Jerod Bell (4 doubles, 4 runs). View Point took over the hitting in the final three frames—sending 6 runs across on 6 hits in the fifth and adding 7 runs on 6 hits in the sixth for a 14-13 lead. Trailing once again, 15-14 in the seventh, View Point tacked on 3 runs on leadoff hits by Luke Fostvedt (2 hits, 2 runs) and Dotty Sarchett (3 hits, 3 runs) followed by a 2-run triple by leadoff batter Jeff Sarchett (5 hits, 4 runs) and a sacrifice fly by Robin Sarchett (2 hits, 2 runs). View Point: Wendy Hosman 3 hits (2 triples) and 2 runs, Georgia Hutchinson 2 hits and 2 runs, Matt Conover 2 HR. Casino: Brenda Griffin 3 hits, Craig Morse 3 hits and 3 runs.
