Trailing 3-0 after two frames in a match-up of unbeaten teams, Anderson busted loose for 7 runs in the third highlighted by a 2-run HR by Phil Uhrig (2 HR, 3 runs) and added 6 runs in the fourth for a 13-5 cushion. Bud made it closer with a 5-run fourth for a 13-10 capped by a 3-run HR off the bat of Greg Edwards (4 hits, 4 runs), but Anderson tacked on 3 insurance runs in the sixth. Anderson: Brian Nelson 4 hits (HR) and 3 runs. Bud: Sean Harrington 3 hits and 2 runs.

VivaTaq/Zou75 15, KB's/Bigwood Auto 0 (5 innings)

Viva Taq got off the mark with a 9-run first and never looked back. Viva Taq: Ben Talmadge 2 hits (triple) and 2 runs, Travis Cooley HR, triple and 3 runs, Davin Hanson 2 hits (HR), Amy Desy 2 runs, Nicola Brashears 2 hits (double) and 2 runs. KB's: Josh Green 3 hits.

Hailey Hotel 18, Evans Plumbing 15 (5 innings)

Hotel, behind 13-8 after three innings and 13-11 after four, broke loose for 7 runs in the fifth and held off a plumbers' comeback in the home fifth. Hailey Hotel: Traci Ireland 3 hits (2 doubles) and 3 runs, Courtney Herald 2 hits and 2 runs, Teresa Lipman 3 singles, Ray Hyde 2 hits (triple).
