Senior baseball league hits 10th season

Sign-ups by May 27

It's time to sign up and pay your fees for the 10th season of the Sun Valley Men's Adult Baseball League sponsored by Blaine County Title.

One of the few all-wood bat leagues in the U.S., the SVMABL will play a 10-week season starting June 10 and lasting through Aug. 14.

Six games early in the season will be played at Ketchum's Atkinson Park, and six games later in the season at Founders Field in Hailey. The Wood River "World Series," will conclude the season Aug. 20-21.

Games will be played Monday and Friday nights, with limited play on Saturdays and Sundays.

Cost is $185 per person including field use fees, game balls, jerseys, umpires and liability insurance. The four-team league is limited to the first 60 registered players. No late additions will be made to teams.

All player and sponsor fees are due by Friday, May 27.

Once again, the league will conduct a draft of all the registered players, from scratch. The draft will be held Saturday, May 28.

Returning players should bring their check and last year's jersey to league commissioner Curtis Bacca at Sun Valley Brokers, 680 Sun Valley Rd. in Ketchum. Or send your check to SVMABL, Box 1834, Ketchum.
