The Cutthroats (2-0) posted a 9-3 victory over visiting Sugar Salem last Friday, posting wins in almost every division.
Tyler Martin won #1 boys' singles 6-2, 6-0 and Scooter Sabel claimed the #2 match 6-0, 6-1. #3 Kyle Koski fell in straight sets.
The victory in #1 girls' singles went to Caitlin Cairncross, 6-0, 6-2. In #2 girls' singles, Cody Curran pushed her opponent to a third set, but lost 1-6, 6-2, 7-6.
The Cutthroats claimed both boys' doubles tilts. Wes Flanigan and Christian Cairncross won in the #1 slot 6-1, 6-4, and Connor Brown and Ryon Campbell prevailed 6-1, 6-2 in the #2 match.
Mixed doubles wins were earned by #1 Tyler Chandler and Jessie Curran (6-2, 6-0), and #2 McKenzie Hart and McClain Porter (6-0, 6-0).
Sun Valley picked up wins in girls' doubles by forfeit and had to waive #3 girls' singles.
On Tuesday, rain washed out eight of the 12 matches scheduled between Sun Valley and Gooding.
When play was called, the Cutthroats had captured four wins. Martin (6-0, 6-0) and Sabel (6-0, 6-0) prevailed in boys' singles, and doubles victories were notched by Flanigan and Cairncross, Brown and Campbell.
