There was a distinct feel of magic and camaraderie at the third annual Share Your Heart Ball, Saturday, March 5 at the Limelight Room in Sun Valley.

The fundraiser benefits the Idaho Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American Cancer Society's Camp Rainbow Gold.

As it was Mardi Gras (again), a bon temps was had by all the well-dressed patrons, donators, parents, campers and volunteers.

Organized all year by an executive committee, the ball was the brainchild of Rob and Kris Cronin, of Hailey.

"Frank Outhet and Stephan Mitchell, our musical directors from camp, were awesome (with their music interlude)," Kris Cronin said. "It gave the audience an element of camp and see the goofy stuff and the touching songs. We get inspired by these kids and they write songs about it."

As for the live auction, Cronin said, "It was an energetic crowd. It's the subject matter. It's magical. Your life has changed for the better once you meet (the campers). Everything combined was so spectacular and what Tina (Quarles) and Heidi (Albrecht) did with the decorations was brilliant."
