March 5, 2005, the 49th annual alpine ski races on Dollar Mountain sponsored by the Papoose Club community service organization, F-Stop Camera & Video and First Bank of Idaho. This year's organizers/publicists were Anna Lutz Mathieu and Nancy Schwab. There were 236 ski racers—113 girls and 123 boys—plus 20 snowboarders for a total of 256 youngsters participating.
