With George Bailey and Mighty Joe Young in the field, the Bradford Cup sounded a lot more like a movie set in the 40's, and two stars emerged after a day of racing.
Randi Dubois and John Campbell will have their names inscribed on the Bradford Cup perpetual trophy as the overall winners of the race.
Hosted by the Sun Valley Ski Club on Tuesday, Feb.8, the race attracted 53 racers to Bald Mountain's Cozy run for a best of two giant slalom.
Dubois' time of 1:30.0 was the fastest in the field of 10 women. Nancy Auseklis (1:30.3) was second in the overall standings and Trudi Schneider (1:32.6) was third.
Racing in the 40-44 class, Campbell's time of 1:25.4 beat out John Summers (1:25.7) and Steve Brown (1:26.3).
The race is held in memory of Robert Bradford.
