The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation's Junior Nordic ski team is staging two more cross-country ski races this weekend, these events at the Lake Creek trail system three miles north of Ketchum.
The events promise loads of fun in the holiday sun.
Saturday's event is the Holiday Ski-Athlon, a fun race for skiers of all ages and abilities. Register at Lake Creek from 9-10:30 a.m. with racing at 11 a.m. Entry fees are $15 for adults and $5 for ages 18-and-under.

If that's not enough holiday fun for Nordic fans, the annual Christmas Classic is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 19 at Lake Creek. Featured are two-person skate relays for all ages and abilities. Register from 9-10:30 a.m. with racing at 11 a.m.
The adult relay is 2x6 laps (1k). The youth relay is 2x6 laps (0.5k) and the kiddies' fun race is 0.5k. Entry fees for the Christmas Classic are $20 adults and $10 for 18-and-under.
