Ridgerock Townhouse project gains final plat approval

Ridgerock Townhomes, a project at the intersection of Red Ash and Briarwood Drive in Woodside, was given final plat approval by the Hailey City Council on Monday. The applicant, Brian Bothwell of Bothwell Construction, was seeking approval to replat the property into eight townhouse sub-lots.

The preliminary townhouse plat was approved in August. The application includes in-lieu contributions in excess of $119,000 for parkland and improvements. The payment must be made before the final plat is recorded.

The project is nearly completed, said engineering consultant Scott Allen, except sidewalks will be completed in the spring within the one-year building permit deadline.

The townhouse project included completion of common party wall agreements.

City Councilman Rick Davis commended the Bothwells for handling neighbor's complaints about trespassing during construction.

"There were complaints from the condos to the east," Davis said. "There have been no further complaints."
