Panthers fall to Tigers

Northside Conference volleyball


The Carey volleyball team suffered its second league loss of the season at Richfield Tuesday.

After winning the opening game, 27-25, the Panthers fell in three close games, 25-22, 25-19, 25-20.

Carey (15-3 overall, 8-2 league) will host the Dietrich Blue Devils for Senior Night on Tuesday, October 12. Three seniors, Brooke McAfee, Melissa Peck and Shannon Roesbery, will be honored during their final home contest.

The last time the teams met, on Sept. 16, Carey posted a three-game victory.



The Community School

The Cutthroats (2-10) will host Shoshone for Senior Night on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the Fish Tank. Graduating seniors include Jackie Goddard, Ashley Alfs, Simone Weisz, Tesla Teitge, Charlie Baser and Sarah Betts.

Junior varsity action starts at 6 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m.
