RESULTS
Waxroom Snappers 14, Coors Light Cyclones 2 (7 innings)
On John Rathfon jersey night, the Snaps handed the Cyclones their shorts. The Snaps opened with a 4-run first with three consecutive hits and finished with 13 knocks altogether. Winning pitcher Matt Zachary allowed just three hits and fanned 12. Waxroom: Zachary 3 doubles, 4 runs. Matt Buxton 2 hits, 4 runs. Corey Goicoechea 2 singles, 1 run. Coors Light: John Rathfon double, run. Riley Nash 1 hit, 1 run. Kellen Chatterton single.

Lefty?s River Dogs 11, Waxroom Snappers 10
Like Vanna White, the Snaps had E?s to spare. The Snaps committed four errors in just their second loss of the season. Lefty?s leadoff man Max Paisley was on fire with hits and runs to kick off two innings, including a 4-run first. The Snaps tied the game with three runs in the third, two runs coming on Pat McGee?s single. Depending on how you look at it, Lefty?s busted out or the Snappers melted down in the sixth. Lefty?s batted around and plated five runs on two hits and three errors. The Snaps stayed in the game with three runs in the seventh and three in the eighth to make it a one-run game. Lefty?s Josh Jacobsen closed out the ninth by sending the Snaps down in order (2 K?s). Lefty?s (12 hits): Paisley 3 hits (2 doubles), 3 runs. Tyler Corrock 2 hits, 2 runs. Anthony Anderson 2 hits (HR), 3 RBI. Nic Nottingham (WP) 2 hits, 1 run. Dan Freeman 1 hit, 2 runs. Waxroom (13 hits): Pat McGee 3 hits (2B), 1 run. Curtis Bacca 2 singles, 2 runs. Matt Zachary 2 hits, 2 runs. Cory Goicoechea 2 hits (2B), 2 runs. Tim Mott HR.

Coors Light Cyclones 10, Clearwater Clippers 8
The Cyclones avenged their Friday night loss, by snipping the Clips by two. Trailing by four in the sixth inning, the Clippers pulled within one on Josiah Drewien?s 2-RBI single. The Cyclones answered with runs by John Rathfon and Tim Carter (winning pitcher) in the seventh for a 10-7 lead. The fat lady had to cut her warm up in the ninth when Clipper Danny Turner opened with a single followed by consecutive hits by Paul Tinker, Scott Seaward (2 hits) and Drewien (3 hits). With the bases juiced, the Cyclones nabbed the next three outs to ice the win. Coors Light (10 hits): Rathfon 2 hits (double), 2 runs. Ryan Stavros 2 hits (double), 1 run. Tory Haavik 2 singles. Jim Jaquet 2 hits. Clearwater (16 hits): Steve Durkin 3 hits (HR), 2 runs. Danny Turner 3 hits (double), 1 run. Paul Tinker 2 hits, 1 run.

Lefty?s River Dogs 8, Clearwater Clippers 5
The Clips just did not swing the bat. Clearwater never managed back-to-back hits all night and had two-hit innings only twice in the whole game. Still, Clearwater held a 2-1 lead when the Dogs sprang to life in the fifth. Nottingham led off with a single, Jeremy Lotz walked, Mark Ellsbree reached on an error, Tyler Corrock walked and Battista knocked in two with a single. Lefty?s tacked on four more in the sixth (hits by Anthony Anderson, Jacobson and Nottingham) to win by three. Lefty?s (10 hits): Jake Nilsen 2 hits (3B), 1 run. Nic Nottingham 2 hits, 2 runs. Josh Jacobsen 2 hits, 1 run. Clearwater (7 hits): Steve Durkin 4-for-4 (double), 2 runs. Robin Sarchett 1 hit, 1 run. Nelson Drewien double.
