A kick in the pants

Second annual kickball tournament slated for Saturday

The second annual Wood River Valley FunRaiser kickball tournament is slated for this Saturday at Atkinson Park.

Sponsored by Mountain Adventure Tours, Wood River Radio, Bob Dogs Pizza and Room & Board, the tournament raises funds for four worthy organizations, Sun Valley Adaptive Sports, the Environmental Resource Center, Campfire Federation and Wilderness Opportunities.

?It is the best day you will have all summer,? organizer Mat Gershater remarked.

The tournament takes place at Atkinson Park on August 28. Teams of 10 or individuals can sign up between 10-11 a.m. The tilt begins 11 a.m. The fee is $30 per person or $300 per team. Each squad must have two children and three females.

The defending champion is Bob Dogs Pizza.
