on the 4.5-mile course, 27:37.
Folske placed 60th (of 1,627 finishers) in
the 140-mile Ironman USA Coeur d’Alene Triathlon June 27 and thus qualified for
the 26th Ironman Triathlon World Championship Oct. 16 in Hawaii.
Sunday’s women’s first-time individual
winner was Ketchum’s Cindi Hillemeyer (1.29:08). She edged Georgie Montgomery
(1.29:58) and Whitney Savlsberry (1.31:52). Savlsberry had the best swim split
of all women, 10:46.
