Hometown Bullriding:
Randy Lundergreen of Carey (Friday, July
2) was the buckle winner in the 23rd annual Hometown Bullriding contest staged
as part of the Days of the Old West rodeo and sponsored by Warm Springs Ranch.
Lundergreen was the only one of 14 entrants in the three rodeos who made an
eight-second ride, according to contest organizer Justin Porter.
Randy Lundergreen of Carey, leaving the chute Friday night, was the only
eight-second rider and consequently the winner of the 23rd annual Sawtooth
Rangers Hometown Bullriding contest during the Hailey rodeo. In the actual
bullriding contest, Gannett’s Clancy Mummert finished in the money with a
fifth-place, 78-point ride on Hang ‘Em High Friday for a $254.92 paycheck.
