It’s good to be a kid in the summer. On
Saturday, Bullion Square merchants are pulling out the stops with a grand
opening celebration. Root beer floats (champagne cocktails for the big kids),
face painting, gift certificates and free drawings will be offered to all
comers. A barbecue will also be fired up.
With the new Ketchum Burritos restaurant
in place, the renovated onetime grocery store space has no more vacancies.

To recognize loyal customers and drum up
new business tenants, the complex will have a grand prize drawing of items
donated by all nine merchants--L.L. Greens Hardware Store, Blockbuster, KBs, The
UPS Store, AmeriTitle, Bungalow, Body Buff, Vintage Gypsy and Big Belly Deli.
AmeriTitle will be selling root beer
floats to raise money for Camp Rainbow Gold, a one-week summer camp for children
ages 6 to 17 diagnosed with cancer.
KECH radio and KSKI will broadcast live on
location from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. KBs and Bungalow plan to donate a percentage of
their sales to the Janice Hawkins Memorial Fund. Hawkins was struck by a car and
killed at the intersection of Bullion and Main streets last month. The fund is
intended to help pay for traffic improvements that will make Hailey more
pedestrian friendly.
"We just want everyone to know we’re here
and we’re open," said Kimberly Stevens, owner of Bungalow.
