Back-to-back winner of the Great Western Showcase and the Idaho High School State Championships, Sun Valley will open up against the Boise Blades at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Saturday’s contests are against MYHA at 9:30 a.m. and Idaho Falls 4 p.m. The Midget championship is 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

The Suns have their work cut out for them, however.

Coach Andrew Hebert remarked, "These are basically all-star teams. They will be a lot tougher. We need to play some fundamental hockey."

The Sun Valley Bantams have four games in pool play, two on Friday at 1:15 and 6:15 p.m., and two on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. The Bantam final is at 11:15 a.m. Sunday.

The PeeWee Suns take the ice at 3 p.m. Friday, and 1 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Saturday.

Tournament teams include Sun Valley, Salmon, Idaho Falls, Northern Idaho and Moscow.
