SV5B swimmer Rachael McGinnis, 12, broke the one minute mark (59:79) to bring home the gold in the 100 free at last weekend’s annual Thanksgiving Invitational swim meet held at the Boise YMCA.

McGinnis also won the 100 IM and 50 free.

Teammate Michele Lowry, 17, snagged herself three golds in the 200 back, 200 and 400 IM.

The two led the 11-member SV5B squad that competed in Boise along with 420 athletes from as far away as Reno (Nev.) and Pendleton (Ore.).

In the age 13-and-over 200 free relay, Lowry, Anja Sundali, Katie Bryson and Chloa Fuller teamed for third place with a 1:52:73. The same four brought home third in the 200 medley relay with a 2:06.73.
