Spooky night planned by Hailey Cultural Center

By ADAM TANOUS
Express Arts Editor

The Hailey Cultural Center has planned an evening of Halloween events for Thursday, Oct. 30. The evening kicks off at 7 p.m. with a historical presentation on the significance of Halloween through the ages by Tony Evans. Evans will discuss Halloween from Druid times to the present. Refreshments and treats will be provided.

Following the talk, a number of valley residents will share ghost stories, UFO encounters and other paranormal experiences. Those participating include Jock Bell, Holly Blair, Frannie Chesston and Faus Geiger. Organizers caution that the evening may not be appropriate for small children or those prone to nightmares.

All are invited to attend in costume.

The Hailey Cultural Center is located at 314 Elm St. in Hailey.
