Open house slated for new high school
Students, staff, and community members are
invited Thursday, Aug. 21, to step over the new Wood River High School’s
threshold and attend the dedication and open house for the school. It is
scheduled for 5-8 p.m.
Along with a ribbon cutting and thank-yous,
students will be offering tours of their new school to all that are interested.
"We really want to make this about the kids," said WRHS Principal Graham Hume,
"because its their school and their event."
"We are very proud of our new high school
facility, and we would like to invite everyone to share in our excitement and
sense of accomplishment," said Blaine County School District Superintendent Jim
Lewis, "The School Board, Facilities Planning Committee, architects,
construction management team, and more recently, staff and administration, have
done an excellent job in preparing this facility for your inspection."
