‘Open house’
set Tuesday
The Idaho Transportation
Department and its Utah-based consultant, Parsons Brinckerhoff, will conduct a
"storefront office" meeting Tuesday, June 17, to take public comment
on the proposed expansion of state Highway 75 from Timmerman Junction to
Ketchum.
The event will be held from
11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Blaine County Senior Center, 721 Third Ave. South, in
Hailey.
While no formal presentation
will be made, officials will answer questions about the proposed project and
will take comments from the public for future consideration.
PB and ITD representatives
will post renderings of two competing proposals to expand the 27-mile stretch of
highway, as well as an analysis of forecasted traffic impacts for the two
options. They will also present a tentative plan for constructing either of the
two proposals, should one be approved by the Federal Highway Administration.

project, interested parties can visit www.sh-75.com.
