Birds of a feather 
float together

Lucky numbers announced

Masses and masses of yellow duckies surged down the Big Wood River Sunday afternoon, but only a few brought in the lucky numbers for the winners.

The big prize of the Caribbean Cruise for two, including airfare, went to the Okayas of Los Altos, Calif.

Doug and Jan Lyke of Hailey and the Blaine County Title Co. both won a six-month memberships to Zenergy.

Joe Benz of Ketchum was the lucky winner of a winter vacation package for two.

Ted Dalzell of Sun Valley won seven nights at an Indian Wells, Calif., condo.

Ron Reese of Hailey won a ride in a World War II fighter plane.

In all, there were 24 prizes won at the Great Wagon Days Duck Race. The funds raised at the annual party and race benefit the Wood River Rotary Club’s projects in Blaine County, as well as the Blaine County Senior Connection and the Blaine County Search and Rescue.
