Hailey
police are investigating a double murder or murder-suicide in the deaths
of two men that occurred early Wednesday morning in South Woodside.
Chief
Brian McNary said a neighbor reported two shots fired at 2950 Woodside
Blvd. about 12:30 a.m. Officers responding to the scene found a male
body inside the house and one in the yard.
The body
in the residence was identified as David Wells, owner of the house.
Wells is believed to be 37, McNary said Wednesday morning.
The other
body had been identified but the victim’s relatives had not been
notified, McNary said. He said they were hard to track down since the
man was rather transient.
McNary
said police had not yet determined what had occurred.
"It’s
convoluted," he said.
Hailey
police were aided by three Idaho State Police forensics specialists who
entered the house Wednesday wearing protective gear.
