Take in a smorgasbord of restaurants

For seven years now, residents and visitors to the area have been treated to a unique event, Best of the Valley. Some of the finest restaurants in the area bring their wares to the Forest Service Park in Ketchum for an evening of fine food, drink and festivities.

This year’s event takes place Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Some of the restaurants represented include: Coyote Grill, Evergreen, Sun Valley Brewing, Desperado’s, Cottonwood Catering and Cooking School, Esta’s, Ketchum Grill, Cristina’s and the newest participant, the East Avenue Bistro.

Entry fee for the event is $6. Patrons then buy food tickets for $1 each to purchase food items from the restaurants.

There will be live music, dancing and activities for young children as well.

The event is organized to raise money for the Blaine County Teen Advisory Council. For more information or to reserve a table for 10, call 788-2117.
