Peterson fastest in
Spider Bash
Mountain bike debut
Boise-based
racer Cody Peterson (1.48:36 over 27 miles) of Lost River Cycling won the
Pro/Semi Pro Men’s class of the seventh annual Barking Spider Bash
mountain bike race near Nampa Sunday.
Peterson
finished nearly two minutes ahead of runner-up Whit Albright of Ketchum
(1.50:27) in the opening event of the 2002 Wild Rockies Mountain Bike
Series. The weather was a mixed bag, but the event still drew 261 racers.
