Masters hit Baldy for Skoch Cup

The U.S. Intermountain Masters circuit returned to Baldy last weekend when the Skoch Cup alpine ski races were staged on the Warm Springs side of Baldy.

Sponsor was Formula Sports of Ketchum. The field of 93 racers on Baldy’s Greyhawk, Hemingway and Cozy ski runs included 21 women and 72 men. Their age range was 21 to 79.

Local class winners included John Droege, Andrew Eker, Anna Droege, Tyler Palmer, Cliff Cunha, Virginia Reed, Joanne Davis, Dotty Sarchett, Kim Verde, Bob Dreyer, Steve Slivinski, Bob Sarchett, Matt Luhn, Mike Levy and Jim Ruscitto. Top finishers:

Women’s slalom: 
1—Chris Katzenberger 1:20.14. 2—Glenn McConkey 1:25.08. 3—Nancy Auseklis 1:25.09. 4—Sally Tauber 1:25.96. 5—Anna Droege 1:27.36.

Men’s slalom:
