A total 18 games on the season schedule for the 2001-02 Carey girls' varsity cagers; 10 home and 8 away. All home games at Carey School gym. Of the 18 games, 10 are Northside Conference contests. All home games in bold. In general, starting times are 6 p.m. JV and 7:30 p.m. varsity. An asterisk (*) listed after an opposing school's name means it's an evening with girls' and boys' games. In most of those cases, girls' JV starts 3 p.m. and varsity 6 p.m.

NOTES--Visiting for the Carey Holiday Tournament Dec. 7-8 are Glenns Ferry, Oakley and Mackay for girls' varsity action. On the first night, Carey plays Glenns Ferry at 5 p.m. and Oakley goes against Mackay at 8 p.m....The 2002 Northside 1A Sub-District girls' BB tournament is Jan. 23-24, Jan. 26 and Jan. 28, Jan. 30-31 at Carey School gym, followed by the state-qualifying Fourth District 1A finals Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Murtaugh. The combined Northside/Southside gets five berths to state, with the Northside assured of state berths for its top two teams....The 16-team State A-4 girls' tournament is Feb. 13-16, 2002 at Nampa and Skyview high schools.
