Rodeo hands compete at Glenns Ferry
Fifth District circuit
Wood River rodeo club members Ashley Smith and Natalia
Ferris were among the leading girls’ cutting horse competitors during
the Fifth District High School rodeo stop April 20-21 in Glenns Ferry.
Other locals: Tara Rushton placed sixth in the first
go-round of pole bending, while Vance Dill and Julee Hill of Carey were
fourth in the first go-round of team roping.
All-around cowboy and cowgirl were Austin Turner (49
points) and Italy Jo Eames (65), both of Gooding. Reserves were Dan Webb
of Wendell (38) and Jeni Garcin of Gooding (55). High-point rookies were
Dustin Allison and Eames.
