Broadway Bridge gets a lift

The old Broadway Bridge, built in 1929, was removed from its decades-old resting place yesterday afternoon to make way for a new, wooden arch bridge that will be built in the same location this winter. Cannon Builders, from Blackfoot, and Inland Crane, from Boise, used two cranes to hoist the structure and place it on a flatbed truck on the parallel Warm Springs Road bridge.
