Diners had a good time while raising money for waterfowl improvement and conservation projects Wednesday, Dec. 13 in the Sawtooth Room at Elkhorn Resort.

The 24th annual Wood River Chapter Ducks Unlimited Banquet raised an estimated $15,000, much of which will go to the national DU organization for projects including wetlands rehabilitation.

Some 120 people attended.

Chairpersons were Jason Roth and Lorraine Wilcox.

Ron Wilcox said, "Elkhorn did a great job and were very professional. We were extremely happy with them."

The live auction included a Ducks Unlimited framed print entitled "Waiting at Crow Creek," by Dennis Minor.

Other auction items were goose blinds, picks of decoys, shotguns, a snowboard, catered dinner for eight with wine, hunting and yurt trips and another DU framed print, "Backwater Green Wings."

A raffle and silent auction jazzed up the fun evening.
