Dressage brings high-powered riders
to Hailey
Big show at River Grove Farm
July 8-9
River Grove Farm hosted the annual Wood River Dressage Show July 8-9,
2000.
The event attracted 43 high-powered riders from Idaho, Utah, Colorado and
California to Peggy and Parry Thomas’ 62-acre equestrian complex just north of
Hailey.
It also attracted a large contingent of fans, drawn both to the top-notch
Idaho Dressage and Combined Training Association competition and the beautiful grounds.
Show coordinator Corby Dibble remarked, "We had more spectators than
we have ever had. It was a combination of the beautiful weather, the caliber of riders and
horses."
Debbie McDonald of River Grove earned High Point rider on her mare
Brentina. McDonald was a double gold winner at the Pan Am Games.
Heather Isbell of Idaho Falls won the Dover Second Level Amateur
Championship.
