Ski conditions in Sun Valley looking good

It’s winter in the Northwest, and Sun Valley is benefitting.

Spring-like temperatures in the Northeast are keeping New England ski resorts closed or scratchy.

Storm after storm has skipped the Colorado ski juggernaut and left operators praying for deeper snow before Christmas.

Wyoming’s Jackson Hole has struggled with temperatures too warm to make snow combined with scarce snow fall.

As skiers attested by their presence in a full River Run parking lot Saturday, early-season conditions on Sun Valley’s Bald Mountain are outstanding by any measure.
